Head unit upgrade

Hi all,

 

I'm doing this bit by bit so starting off with just getting the head unit.

 

I know the speakers could probably do with being upgraded - but one thing at a time!

 

I'm thinking of getting this HU:

Presumably this kit is the one I need for my Zed?

It does everything I need (I quite like the mirror link feature), bluetooth is important (will the steering wheel controls work?), it's got decent power (4x52W) and importantly a front USB port.

 

Is there anything else I need to consider? That really is the maximum I'm willing to spend.

Hey will, if you have steering controls and Bose already installed you will need those kits from incartec ... If not, from what I can see your good to go.... You may have to do a handbrake mod ( connect handbrake on signal wire to earth) if youd like your passenger to view media while moving.... Note, this is illegal and highly unrecommended ...

I never do illegal

 

I do have steering controls and for me at least it's quite useful to have as I prefer it so that incartech kit should keep them operating.
