timb2010 Posted August 20, 2013 Share Posted August 20, 2013 Hi, I don't have an iPod or iPhone and i am looking for another solution so I have removed this from my car. Basically you plug the aerial into the female plug on the box and then the male plug in the box into the back of the radio. If you plug in your iPod/iPhone to the dock and tune the radio to 102.9fm it plays the music from the iPhone instead of the radio.. Testing and working and was removed without talking out the radio so I guess it can also be installed too. The cradle went in the storage box onto the small removable lid and the control box sat in front of the gear stick under the heater controls. Needs a + and - to power it. Lights up blue in the dock also. Not sure what iPhones/iPods it can take but tested working with an iPhone 3g. Might be of use to someone wanting a simple iPhone solution.
