seized brembo piston

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

as per title, just changed pads and discs on the front of my zed, drivers side went fine, the passenger was a different matter, 3 of the pistons pushed back into the calliper as they are supposed to but one of them wouldnt budge. the dust cover rubber grommet thingy was half hanging off so im presuming dirt, brake dust etc has got in there and seized it solid. is there a fix for this that anyone knows of or is it a new calliper jobbie?

I'm pretty sure the caliper can be stripped and serviced.

Message zmanalex and see if he can do a part x on second hand ones he has serviced.
