Tomb Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 So since owning the zed there has been a collection of scratches bellow the rear nissan badge that's really been annoying me. So today I went at them with the DA. Products used: - megs shampoo - megs clay and detail spray - megs 105 & 205 - chemical guys hex logic orange and white pads - chemical guys xxx wax So the damage before .. Sorry for iPhone pictures but you can see it on the right under the badge 50/50 after 105 and orange pad 105 all across Finished with 205 and white pad Sealed with xxx wax So that was my first attempt at some scratch removal pretty happy with the results Nd also products, only thing I might change next time is the wax/sealant ... Any recommendations for gunmetal paint? Tom. Quote

mrchic Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Great work. I have some scratches around that area from opening the boot. I used the Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid which is a Wax/Sealant in one. (pics posted yesterday) Bought a sample pot for about £12 Quote
