Amp' or speaker problem

Hi,

2010 roadster has started intermittently producing some fierce crackling noises in the car. I assume the noise is coming from the speakers.

Other symptoms are radio and music box stop or are distorted.

Crackling occurs with the audio and screen switched off.

Any ideas - before the car burns itself to a crisp?

If it's still under warranty I'd take it to nissan to sort

Yep mine just started doing the same , 3 years and 3 months old. Speakers crackle when the ignition is off even with audio off. Off to Nissan this week so will let you all know the outcome.
