SGWilliams Posted August 25, 2013 Share Posted August 25, 2013 They'll all charge what they can get away with Insurance companies get regulated by several different companies so they can not just charge what they think, it will be based upon statistics etc. Depending on what your call is regarding depends on the call centre, halifax, cardiff and swansea for renewals, india, cardiff and swansea for customer service mid term and for claims its swansea, cardiff and newport. on the point about the modifications, as it was mentioned as they are a mainstream insurance company modifications is something they only cover lightly so the major mods like engine conversions are not always cover etc. they do group a few things together interior/exterior decorative changes and exhaust/manifold upgrade, which can be handy as it allows you to upgrade the backbox and then change the centre later on without having to update your policy.
