Shinjuku Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 The bottom of my wiper arms (the short bit that bolts onto the scuttle panel) is all scabby and whit where the paint is coming off. It loos like the sort of thing thats going to be a typical problem so was wondering about what people do about it. Is there a how to or anything Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 Quote
spursmaddave Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Very typical, take them off , rub them down and use some hammerite job done. Easy to take off, 2 plastic caps and bolts just be careful with them Quote

samsniss350z Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I had the same trouble with mine, they bubbled up like they had a really bad sexually transmitted disease (no comment), i took them off and rubbed them down and painted them with Hammerite as per Spurs Mad Dave. This should sort you out. Quote
spursmaddave Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 A good tip is to put a bit of tape on the windscreen to show where the wipers are when you take them off as I am sure they move a bit when you pop the bonnet. I seem to remember lining them up perfectly, puttimg the bonnet down and they moved too low Quote
