JackStrong Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Hi Guys, So its my girlfriends birthday next week and we will be driving upto Edinburgh from Birmingham. Its a complete surprise for her, shes always wanted to go, so got a hotel and theatre booked for the weekend. We shall be setting off early Saturday morning driving up the M6 etc. Could anyone recommend some nice stops along the way, not too far off the main route ? Before anyone says why didnt you fly etc..flight times were @*!#! Thanks for any suggestion Quote
brillomaster Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 who'd wanna fly!?! Birmingham to Edinburgh is perfect Zed GT territory! I'd recommend the A7 from Carlisle to Edinburgh, way more interesting than the motorway. Quote
