Bose radio removal / install

Hi guys, still fairly new to this so apologies if I have put it in the wrong place :/

I have bought another Zed which had no radio so I managed to source an original Bose radio head unit, all the connections clip in fine and I can get everything into place and working but there are two clips on the bottom of the radio at the front!?!? Now I'm just wondering if there is a difference between the older Zed radios and newer ones as this just simply doesn't want to fit as the two clips won't allow the centre console to sit flush !?!? It forces the centre console to sit proud!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Oh and if anyone has any radio brackets knocking around please give me shout as desperate for them! Can't seem to find any anywhere! Thanks guys

Thanks for the welcome! Just an update from my last post and wondering if anyone can help with my next issue - i have bought another head unit now and its from a 2003 zed so will fit perfectly but it hasnt got the 'BOSE' sign on the flap for the tape player. Does this mean that it isnt a Bose head unit and more importantly is there actually any difference in the head units that have 'BOSE' on the tape player flap and head units that dont?? I have the bose setup throughout. thanks
