georgerobertfreeman Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 Hi All, Im currently in the process of selling my current car in the hope of purchasing a 350z within the very near future. I need a car everyday to get to work and back, so not having a car between the transition of selling mine and purchasing a zed isnt an option. The old man has a car I can use however he currently holds his own insurance policy on that car and because of my age his insurance will not add me to his policy. My policy also doesnt cover me to drive other cars TPFT due to my age. I would only be looking for insurance for at the most around a month. What are my options? kbeast35 Posted January 16, 2013 Share Posted January 16, 2013 you can take out your own policy with your dad as the registered keeper no problem, but as its only for a month you will probably lose out when terminating it unless you use a company that you intend to insure the z with and just transfer the car over its gonna cost you either way, i don't think its worth getting temp cover as that will probably be even more expensive Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
