Routing Cubby Cables

Noobie Question, but what do I need to remove to be able to run a cable from the Cubby, down past the head unit and out the side to the cigarette lighter in the passenger footwell, or alternatively to the the one behind the driver side..... want to fit a sat nav ion the but dont want cables all over the place.

Center console out job. Fairly easy to do. I think it is detailed in the iPhone hack guide.
