2007 Sat nav - new stereo, retaining OEM functions

Hey guys

 

I'm looking to replace the Bose HU with an aftermarket double DIN jobbie.... The car has Nissan sat nav fitted.

 

I've read through the guides etc but some of the info is dead or the products not available anymore.

 

So is it possible to fit an new stereo, retaining the bose amp and speaker config, steering controls and sat nav? If so, how?

Steering controls are possible with most units, i got old style double din and little bit of d.i.y and you can do it. Not sure about the bose amp though, from what ive read everyone has had to bypass it. But could be different if you buy a bose unit?

Chaps, thanks for this - the sextons links on all the guides show the parts as not listed. I guess that was my concern was all the loom adaptors etc - where the heck do you buy them? I've googled and one is available from the US ....

Yep incartec do everything you need only thing that will be tricky is getting audio from your nav into the new unit and even when you do you will probably have to choose music or nav unfortunately
