sl114 Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Hey all, what is the best way to check our brake pads as i have a funny feeling that mine are nearly worn down as they sqeeked yesterday but have not done it again. Also, is there a guide to chaning them? THanks Quote
Removed Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 take the wheel off and check them they also have a metal pin which will start making A LOT of noise if you have them completely worn down, so you'll hear them. Have a look at the Brembos, very easy to change the pads. I think there should be a guide somewhere, definitely on tech, in the wiki section. Quote
Liam's Z Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 No need to take the wheel off!!! But yeah like Val said, check the little wear indicator, very easy to tell when these pads are low Quote
Removed Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 tbh unless you have an extremely small head (ie small brain ) I dare you to check the rear brake pads with the wheels on Quote

Im going to check tech now but if anyone can find it quicker than me, please do so. Cheers for your help guys Quote
