BulletMagnet Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Just a basic rear brake disc change. Old discs and pads (DBA 4000, Endless SuperStreet) were looking really tired and started making a grinding noise. Popped over to my brothers and we both set about changing the parts and giving the callipers a good clean too New disc on And a quick comparison shot of before and after bedding-in process Thanks go out to ZMANALEX for supplying the DBA T3's and CS for supplying the Ferodo DS2500's (and of course my bro who gave me a hand ) Quote
spursmaddave Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Very nice Have you noticed that someone has been playing tetris on you (or your brothers) trousers Quote
BulletMagnet Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 Haha, yeah, them army people that developed those must be old skool geeks at heart Quote
BulletMagnet Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 Thanks Tony, we used up two spraycans of brake cleaner on this job, that's how dirty they were. There were deposits of brake dust building up under the pad guides (and other places), and my bro was chipping them out with a punch. That prolly explained why the old pads were a bit resistant to removal. Once it was all cleaned up, the pads just slid in as smooth as silk Quote
