Changing handbrake gaiter

Hello all sorry if this is duplicate, couldn't really find anything on here or the guides section but does anyone know what is involved in changing the leather cover on the handbrake? I've got a lovely one from ebay and its a 350z specific fit and looks like it'll be good but can't figure out how I would get the old one off, seems so snug that I doubt it'll just slide off?

you have to cut it off mate. do you have the handbrake handle or just the gaiter?

Run a knife down the stitching and cut it all off, you will need a leather boot to go on there also that matches up to your handle.

Just the gaiter no handle, it's the same shape as the one that is currently on, I'm hoping I can cut it off and then wiggle the new one on and it'll be a tight enough fit
