Body Work Recommendations - Huntingdon

Hi.

 

Well I took the car to a body shop today. Took him around the car showing exactly what I wanted:

 

touch up on curbed front wheels

respray of bonnet

touch up on deep scratch on the bumper (mot test drive must have hit something :S)

fitment of nismo spats and sprayed

touch up of deep, tcutted scratch next to 350z badge

 

Had a lovely email:

 

£876.90 !!!!!!! with £620 just for labour !!

 

The 350z badge which he said would be replaced was quoted at £48 :S

 

Therefore could someone recommend a body shop in my area; Northampton, Peterborough, Bedford

For the wheels, Wheelgenie in Huntingdon is the best I know of anywhere, seriously good work there. As for a bodyshop, the only one I can recommend is Gladwyns in Cambridge and they arent known for being cheap ..........

 

TBH though, I dont think £896 is *that* bad, particuarly if its including VAT - thats a bit over £700 ex VAT, say £100 for parts and consumables so 10 hours at £60 per hour .......... its not horrific by any means.
