Although since owning I have noticed it feels slightly rough at higher revs, coarse is how I would describe it. Is this just the way they are? Is there any way to make it feel smoother? I had a few other mods done too but I've noticed on other vehicles/bikes, that when I've sorted out the fuelling they can be much smoother. daveparkin Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 I don't know how the earlier engine feels, but I do know that my HR engine feels and sounds significantly different on different oils. Have you tried an oil change? However, I'd say that the Zed has been deliberately kept a little unrefined to suit its character - and for me its a better car because of it!
