chrisgunton Posted January 24, 2012 Share Posted January 24, 2012 Bit puzzled by this as I'm used to it being the other way round (squealing when starting). Late last year when it had a full service I had the belt changed. It squealed on damp mornings, and I ended up going back to the garage to have it tightened a couple more times. The garage was reluctant to tighten it any more than it is. Now it's started squealing at 3k rpm and up while driving. Tighten it some more? chrisgunton Posted January 28, 2012 Author Share Posted January 28, 2012 Yeah I got the belts from Zmanalex (of course!). I don't know if they are tight enough, or even if it's ok to thrash it.
