What is the difference between S-Tune and R-Tune??

Presume they are different ranges with presumably the R being higher, but for example the panel filter is S-Tune, but the brake pads are R-Tune??

IIRC the R-Tune parts are considered for off-road use only (ie track etc) they are basically more performing parts and I don't think hold Nissan's warranty

 

of course noone is stopping you using R-Tune parts for your own car
