First thing to decide is your budget, then the world is your lobster...

About £400? Depends on if I like the look as well as performance, don't want a 'boy racer' style...something a bit classier

I went for a single din for a couple reasons. First I already had the headunit as it was previously used in my old Z4 and I had sat nav in the 350z so didn't want 2 screens or see the point in having 2 screens.

Your budget would be a good place to start as don't forget your going to need a wiring loom, fascia etc which can cost £30-60

Hmmm...it sounds a lot trickier to choose/fit that I thought  I have a birds eye factory fitted sat-nav, I guess I need to see a few fitted examples first, anyone got any photo's pleeeease!

A simple Alpine and JL Audio set up will get the most bang for buck IMO :)

If your going for upgrade speakers and amps also buy used, my 2 slash amps were £400 each when new, i paid £300 for the both in mint condition. Car audio depreciates faster then a new french car.

Looks good Dave I seeit has a USB port, and bluetooth, does it have i-pod compatibility? Personally I dont have a problem with having a sat nav screen AND sound system screen : )

USB & iPod in the centre cubby. I did have an all in one unit but i got fed up with having everything on one screen and having 7" nav and 7" stereo is much easier on the eyes
