Rustyk1 Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Hi guys, When I first press the accelerator or when changing gear (so when the accelerator is fully out) the accelerator pedal seems to stick a bit before depressing. It moves a tiny bit but then requires a bit more force to get it past the stick, then becoming easier again. It doesn't happen every time, but quite frequently. Any ideas what this is likely to be? Just a cable needing a bit of grease or something more serious? It seems to be since it got a bit colder, but that could be a coincidence Thanks! Quote
ZMANALEX Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 There is no cable mate as it is a fly by wire set up. Try giving the fulcrum/pivot point (at the top of the pedal) a spray with WD40 or similar. Alex. Quote
Rustyk1 Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 Haha, oh yeh, stupid me! Will try giving it a bit of a lube, thanks. Quote
