Size of stock radiator fans

Sorry If this is a common ask but I did a few searches and couldn't find anything.

 

What are the size of the stock fans on 350's ?

 

Mine aren't workin so looking for a cheap replacement and tbh I'm thinking an alli rad and twin 12"/14" fans on a thermostatic controller ( all that is less than one fan motor from Nissan !!! )

 

I've used this set up on my skid car and worked bloody well but I had alot more space due to a Frankenstein creation lol

 

So are they 10 11 12 14 ??? etc

I would but it's still close to 400 quid where as the aftermaket stuff would clot me

Half that fitted and would be so much more efficient

ahhh couldnt be assed to wait and then go out and measure so i bought a generic "racing" alli rad with twin 12" rans . Should be fitted in tuesday on a thermostatic fan controller. Same setup i used in my R32 drift car so should work well

right new setup in and working but still having issues

 

cant believe just how thin and USELESS the stock rad is !!! The rad ins my 520i e34 bmw was 3 times as thick with an engine almost half the size.

 

My new rad is 6 1/2 times thicker

Funny though that overheating issues aren't really frequent unless the fans fail.

yeah its crazy how small the rad's are. And i can see why there is such an issue with fan failure as they must be on alot of the time.

 

still getting random over heating issues and hot and cold air being blown through. I have started another thread trying to work out wats wrong before i set fire to the bloody thing lol

The fan motor issue is not so bad its just the brushes that get stuck in their holder... takes 5 minutes to free them (there is 4)thats all
