Bluetooth Question

Just searched on connecting multiple phones to the BT system in the Z. Found a relevant post but was just wondering if anyone knows how it would choose one phone over the other.

 

Or if it would be pot luck?

It is meant to pic up the first in the list but I have found It picks ups which ever one it sees first
