dhyndi Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Hi All I've recently bought and installed a reverse camera for my 350z http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Car-Reverse-backup-camera-Nissan-350Z-Fairlady-Livina-/330533965399?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4cf55c0e57, have the power wired to the reverse light so that it will come on when reversing. However, my head unit has a wire to allow autoswitching, so when i put it in reverse it will come up on the headunit automatically. They recommend wiring it to the reverse light switch....which is apparently around the gear stick somewhere. Does anyone know where? Quote
threefiftyz Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 pls can you post some pics of this when installed? sorry cant help with your question......im sure someone with the knowledge will be along Quote

ZMANALEX Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 They recommend wiring it to the reverse light switch....which is apparently around the gear stick somewhere. Does anyone know where? Located on the side of the gearbox Quote
dhyndi Posted July 10, 2011 Author Posted July 10, 2011 hmmm makes things a bit more difficult....maybe easier just to wire it to the reverse light aswell?? Quote
ZMANALEX Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 hmmm makes things a bit more difficult....maybe easier just to wire it to the reverse light aswell?? Why is it difficult, just follow the wires from the switch and just piggy back at a suitable location simples, job done Quote
