Servicing in the Birmingham or Essex area?

I'm looking to get the car I've had for... two weeks... serviced. Just to ensure it's in good condition. You can never be too sure whether the previous owner kept up with everything. It's coming up on 40k miles now.

 

If anyone has any suggestions or links to threads I haven't found I'd really appreciate it.
