in the cubby on the armrest on my zed i have a box shaped thing with a wire coming from it, it almost looks like a charger of some sort with something plugged into it charging (which doesnt seem to come off).

anyone know what it could be? is it on all zeds?

ha ha that would be your bluetooth kit for your stereo....

its made for nokia phones, but you can buy a bt adaptor for around £90 and you can connect any phone to your car for handsfree... the bt adaptor usually goes missing though.....

lol just getting to know the car, it took me about 15 mins to figure out how to start it and about half an hour to find the cigarette lighter!

so if i buy this bt adaptor it will work with my iphone?

Yep works with my 3GS faultlessly. Worth saying though it doesn't work like a parrot you have to manually enter names into the adapter if you want to make voice activated calls.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, just a quick question.

I've heard the module has the capability to store contacts for voice activated dialling...how do you do this?

Many Thanks,

Hassan

Just checked the packaging that Nissan supplied with the adapter. It only had 1 sheet of paper explaining how to pair it, that's it

The link you just sent is what I found a few minutes ago, thank you!! That explains how to do it very well!

I bought minebrand new from Sturgess Nissan for £84 with a one year warranty. I'm sure they have some more left if you were interested?

The ones I watched on Ebay went for around £75 and they were used!! :scare:
