david 164 Posted March 19, 2011 Share Posted March 19, 2011 well ive got the new car,drove it 200 miles home today,really pleased,but,the cruise control didnt work,set light not coming on,and when i got to my road at end of journey,noticed bit of a knock rattle over the bumps in my road,from the front,im thinking link bars,anyone got any ideas,its under warranty,so shouldnt be a real problem! Ricey Posted March 19, 2011 Share Posted March 19, 2011 you sure your setting the cruise properly..........its a little fiddly until you know how. Knocks, clunks, squeaks and creaks are fairly well discussed but difficult to diagnose to be honest mate - bit of trial and error for changing bits and greasing parts etc. Try a searchy for some possibilities (drop links, banana bar, bushes ETC) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
david 164 Posted March 19, 2011 Author Share Posted March 19, 2011 i will just take it in and let the garage have a look for rattle,its not majorly bad,and only really heard it on my road,which is quite uneven,as for the c/control,i pressed the button,cruise control com up on dash,but no set light,think i was doing it right,unless someone can tell me im doing it wrong?
