Rubber Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Just got my car back from the MOT (passed no problems ). They said they had adjusted the headlights because they were right on the the lower limit of their throw. I had noticed recently that when I was driving on the motorwway I had very poor visibility - this change seemed to have happened over the last 6 - 8 months if I think about it. I asked the garage what the cause is and they said that over time the car suspension settles - is this true? Yet to try it out at night but looking forward to seeing the difference Chris Quote
Chris`I Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Over time suspension parts will become warn and the car will sag a little. Shouldnt effect it too much as the front and rear should sag about the same I would guess. Anyway, I find that MOT stations usually point the lights far to near to the ground and needs adjusting up, so thats most likely what has happened in the past and these guys have corrected it. You may still want to move them up more again Quote
