Button on speedo gauge

Hey guys

 

Can anyone tell me what the button does on the speedo.

When pressed it changes from a to b but have no idea what it actually does

Trip computer... press to change from trip a to trip b press and hold it to reset it.

If it's the one on the right hand side, it's for the lighting levels of you dials, radio etc, try it at night

No it's the little black button in the speedo it's self, thought it would reset the trip mileage.

if you hold it down for a second does it reset the mileage on the the trip

See my post under your first post....... press and hold and it does reset the trip computer. press it once and it flicks between trip computer A and trip computer B.

I've last reset my trip 31,000 miles ago. Shame it doesn't have enough digits My calculated MPG is pretty shocking though as it reckons I've burnt quite a bit of petrol to go 1k miles!
