Local harrogate Help required.

I have some bluetooth issues please see thread link below.

Is there anyone in the harrogate area that would be willing to let me try connect to their bluetooth in car kit?

i'd rather see if its a fault with my adaptor or my phone before i start throwing money at the problem.

is there an issue with the adaptors fitting properly into the units? the red lights on so i'm asuming its in corectly?

Well as I remember. U pull the little bit at the top of the holder. At that makes it so u can push the module into the holder. It's odd that u have flashing lights but won't connect.

he's not having flashing yellow, just solid red

I'm pretty sure you have put it in correctly but just in case there is a handy installation guide here. Later in the guide there is the procedure for fitting the module.

cheers guys, its been in the holder correctly but i've forced it down and held it and its started to flash, i've paired it with my phone its just not connected so i think i'm heading in the right direction.

 

the words "paired but not connected" are words i've read on here before so i'll do a search on previous threads to find my answer to this next stage.
