neo Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 got stuck in some slow moving/stop/starting traffic on a dual carriageway today, finally managed to get off up a sliproad, turned right and booted it a little further down the road had to slow down, then both the warning lights under the rev counter light and lost all power pulled over to one side thinking the car had stalled but it hadn't, switched off the car, restarted first time but now the little engine warning lights on all the time, the car does drive like normal tho popped into the nearest dealer but all the service people had gone home, spoke to a salesman (who seemd to know loads about the Z), explained and he said it should be fine to drive, is it a dealer reset or ok to do a reset myself is this correct reset i need to try and do ? http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Tutorial:ECU_Reset cheers Neo Quote
lomoto Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 you could just try switching the igntion on and off a few times and that works sometimes Quote

neo Posted October 7, 2006 Author Posted October 7, 2006 did the other day but will check again as the car wasn't on the level oil pressure seemed fine while driving. Quote
Liam's Z Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 My guess is it's a faulty sensor or something, dealers diagnostic equipment will pick it up. I wouldn't drive it tho unless it's totally necessary Quote
