Daryl Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 Oh in Tilbrook? not too far from me. Bit of a strange career path isnt it? F1 technician - Bar staff... ? I was working at Prodrive in Milton Keynes, and wanted to meet some new people after my ex left me a year before ,and always wanted to work behind a bar. It was also 2minutes from where i was living,so was ideal. Was a great experience, and i loved it,though doing 10odd hours at work, then another 4odd at the pub did wear me out abit. Quote
Glennc91 Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Yeah I know what your saying, when ever i have been short in the past, a few hours behind a bar somewhere is always the first thing that comes to mind. Probably something everyone should do at some point, gives you a bit of perspective too! Prodrive hey? thats impressive. what were you doing for them? I run a firm that specialises in diagnostic software and chip tuning / ECU remapping. among other things... Quote

I run a firm that specialises in diagnostic software and chip tuning / ECU remapping. among other things... I worked as their composite inspector for 18 months, before going to Red Bull. I never worked behind the bar for the extra money,i just wanted to get out and meet some new people, earning £100 a week from it was a bonus! If i was in a position where i had a normal job with normal hours, and i was single,id probably go back there. Its a pain sometimes, but i really enjoyed it. Quote
