bhavin85 Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Hi, Well I was expecting to come home to my shiney Nismo exhaust for a week away for work but instead...I came home to a CEL as the exhaust wont be here for a few days So just tried the ODB2 reader that I picked up a while ago on the CEL and it's found 1 fault however when I look for an error code I just get N/A Now I changed my intake over last weekend from a CAI to a SRI because I didnt want it to get soaked in puddles...I think this might have something to do it with...suggestions ? Reset the ECU and see what happens ? I might take my Nismo intake off...put the OEM airbox back then see how the ECU react...whats the advice boys and girls Quote
Zugara Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 ECU reset first.....Then see what happens. Quote
GT4 Zed Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Bhav, - check there is no leaks by ensure all jubilee clips are tight - check the MAF sensor plug is clipped in all the way. - if all the above are ok and no other fitting oversight the CEL should not come again after ECU reset unless its something else. Woody Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Instead of using the error code reader, have you tried the peddle trick? It should give you the error code by a sequence of different frequency light flashes Quote
