Muddy Posted August 29, 2010 Share Posted August 29, 2010 Thought this item warranted it's own thread. I have for sale a genuine Varis Carbon fibre "Cooling " bonnet. Rare Japanese handmade "to order" bonnet. Not many in the UK. Only 3 or 4 i believe. One of the nicest and best fitting carbon bonnets for the zed. (You get what you pay for) To buy new you'd be looking at £1000+ to import in through Nengun etc etc The bonnet is in excellent condition, obviously fitted to the show car so loads of TLC, loads of wax. There is a little flaw in the carbon/topcoat near the corner of the bonnet (where it meets end of wing to windscreen) (Picture below) This however isn't very noticeable, shows that it was handmade and was never picked up by a judge or was ever commented about at a show. The bonnet also comes with rain guards that bolt underneath the vents to prevent water getting into engine bay. I didn't fit them. I'm looking for £600 not including postage. And to be honest I'd rather this item were collected, due to it's size. I can only say that this bonnet is fantasic, straight replacement for OEM, no drilling of holes or anything, just straight swap (two man job takes about 20 mins to do).
