MCI Posted July 20, 2010 Share Posted July 20, 2010 Hi guys, I believe I have a fairly common problem, after 30 mins driving my clutch pedal sticks at 1/2 way travel up position and then I get a dead zone from full travel to this position. I have changed the clutch fluid to Dot 4 and I have made sure my hydraulic pipe has had the retrofit insulation wrap, so I guess I am at the point where I will need to replace the slave and master cylinders. I did notice when I bled the system it was necessary for me to pull the clutch pedal up by hand after letting the fluid out of the bleed nipple as it stuck to the floor and I thought it was pretty unusual at the time! Anyway to the point, where is the best place to buy the parts (i am based in the East Midlands) also are there any good local specialists as I hate the main dealers with a passion!
