phone help please

HI

just wanted to ask a couple of questions about the phone cradle in the armrest, my uk model has it fitted for various nokia phones and i was just wondering what peoples experiences were using it,

IE does anyone have their phone plugged in , or does everyone use the bluetooth adapter, are they as good as each other? does the phone get charged in the cradle?

 

I also wanted to if anyone has successfully managed to get a good result with pluging a nokia in there, Which model did you use?

the reason why im asking is that i hate all the new phone bollox , i am on contract but sell my upgrade phone every year on ebay 250-300(Which pays for most of my bills ) and use old nokias instead ,so ideally i would get an old nokia thats compatible with the kit

using a BT adapter. Works excellent. It doesn't charge your phone. It also future proof which you cant say for the old adapters.

I've never had any problems with mine, always worked well

 

I use an old Nokia in there and keep it permenently in the car.

 

The only downside is trying to persuade the nice young lady to 'dial home' at 80mpg on the m6

Try that with an aftermarket zorst - I had 8 pardons just to dial!!!

lol ive had that conversation a few times recently!

 

I was thinking of changing the voice tag to:

 

"dial home you bi**h"

 

so at least I could shout at it and it might still work
