Stew Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Do these give a decent finish? I was thinking about touching up some of the daft stonechips on my azure. I wouldn't want to make an ar*e of it and make my lovely car look like an acne covered teenager! Quote
M13KYF Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 some of this stuff after you have touched up does wonders http://www.frost.co.uk/item_detail.asp?productID=8221 Quote
Stew Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Interesting. Never heard of or seen that before. I think I'll order it and get a touch up stick and try to get rid of some of the chips! Quote
janoof1 Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 thanks for the advice guys, w ent to halfords 1st ,funnily enough they didn't have gun metal , but they did have blade silver, the spotty teenager (no joke) told me they were identical and i was like mmmmmmmmmright, they did have a graphite grey for nissan cars which looked like a good match, but i got mr no GCSE's to go and get more detail on their paints, he brought a big folder back showing that nearly all their nissan paints were for models pre millenium!!! so i walked away next stop was a dealer, i asked for gun metal paint brush please, he asked for my paint code , i replied "GUN METAL" , hes like no "YOUR PAINT CODE!" apparently on the bottom corner of the chassis plate! So after parting with 4pounds and ordering^^^what mike suggested i should be able to do a good job, i will post before and after photos Quote
