Decat exhaust

Got my z on saturday my first mod is going to be a decat I cant see the point in getting a cat back exhaust because it seems like half a job to me.

Had a look on ebay there seems to be a few american ones available but not sure if there going to fit?

Has any one had one from the states or been able to get hold of a uk one?

going to be raspy, noisy and illegal, but I'm sure you already know that

 

APS do a nice set of decat pipes, as well as many more companies

He could get resonated test pipes to reduce raspiness

 

Kinetix do both resonated and un-resonated IIRC (as well as hi-flow cats)

You will need to do a O2 sensor mod to avoid throwing a CEL also (although the above set include a mod to do this)

true although not having listened to resonated and unresonated ones i wouldn't know how much the noise/raspiness is reduced by. My guess is not by much.

Thanks for the replys guys the noise does nt bother me and aslong as the cat can be bolted back in with these systems I should be ok
