I think the running gear is identical as the Zed, just the body they plopped on top is different.

But thinking that it has four seats, I would guess that it's a tad slower.

What you mean paint it black? apart form the slightly more aggressive offset wheels and the fact its slammed for to low for

Yes up to 2006/7 the engine, chassis/suspension, brakes etc are pretty much interchangeable.

The US Infiniti G35 comes in at about 100KG heavier than the import 350z, but being us spec its a bit lardy in comparison to the JDM 350GT so i doubt there is much in it, i have driven a well modded 350Z and IMO the 350GT feels no slower, so probably 3rd of a second in reality.
