Sylvester Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Asked this question in another thred but it will not have been seen by many so thought I would give it its own little thread... Anyone else know for certain ? How ? Thanks as ever. Syl Quote
Spill Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Hi mate If it's just the tyres you could put two in the front and two in the rear but they would rub on your dash Think it's been done but I wouldn't risk it Quote
AndyC Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Hi mate, yep I've done it. No rubs or scratches either but be careful!! 1 in the boot, 1 in between the strut bar and the rear speakers, 2 on front seat. If you position them right you can just close the door. You won't get em in if they're already on the rims though. Quote
Sylvester Posted August 24, 2006 Author Posted August 24, 2006 Thanks guys. Unfortunately the Toyos are out of stock and new container full has only just docked so will have to wait at least another week before they get to me.. Still, at least I know I can transport them to the fitters now... Quote
mudhut Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Thanks guys.Still, at least I know I can transport them to the fitters now... How are you going to get the old tyres and wheels back then? Quote
Sylvester Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 Well I was expecting the fitter to dispose of the old tyres.... part of the price you pay... As for the wheels .... well I was kinds hoping they would be on the car... there's not too much point in getting new tyres fitted on the wheels if you dont then use them ...!?! Quote
mudhut Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Ahh. Thought you were going to get new wheels too....oops! Quote
