I am currently looking for a second hand Z my name is Leon 29 and I am an electrician from Nottingham. I am after an import either a spec S or ST this is because I’ve read that the base model and T do not come with the new lsd and sports dynamic control and that they also have different suspension and 17â€

No discernible difference between any of the models, some people reckon JDM has slightly stiffer suspension than a Uk , but I would doubt it..

Base models have TractionControl, ST models have VDM,you can switch both off (I know I do as soon as I start up! ) To be honest theres only minute differences between a JDm and Uk .. JDM's far cheaper though :) and generally speaking in the used market they are in better condition / lower mileage than the equivilant year UK car..

I've been more than happy with my JDM and with not having to bother keeping up with a warranty from Nissan has allowed me to modify as much as I want :teeth: and not be tied into main dealer servicing :scare:

what is the "noisy window" fault?

Sometimes it doesn't seal properly, becomes apparent at high speeds!!! Easily reset by the dealer, although if you have the balls I think there may be a guide on here somewhere ;)

Thats not true as me and Liam's Z posted all of the known faults that have been logged within this thread, which is not off topic

Is the noisy window really noticable? AS i did notice a little wind noise when i was driving at 70mph...:)

Yes mate.... Yours coming from the driver or the passenger side??? It's ok at slow speed, defo more noticeable on motorway....
