Chesterfield Posted April 6, 2010 Share Posted April 6, 2010 Thought Id give this a bump - show season is now upon us, and to avoid disapointment, people should get their names down. We will be discounting tickets wherever possible, but the funds are not bottomless. There will be a limit to the number of discounted and free tickets available, and with now over 5000 members on the site and many more active posters joining each day, there will inevitably be some shows where the attendees outnumber the free or discounted tickets we have available. I would advise people get their names in for these shows - but please dont just add your name if you arent at least wishing to attend these - carpet bagging free tickets isn't the intention of this post... And after last year's security and drunken crash incidents not sure if we will be. If there is enough member support then we will of course do the show. Chesterfield Posted July 6, 2010 Share Posted July 6, 2010 Worth mentioning that we certainly havent fallen out with the organisers, as they are the same people which organise many of the other shows that we have already attended and those which we are attending for the rest of the season. JAE just seemed to fall off the radar for us a couple of years ago when it moved quite far South East which at the time was a fair distance from a lot of our members. Now that the member base has expanded massively, there may certainly be a call to attend this again. If enough people voice up support for this then we will go, and of course we will look at discounting the tickets if we can should this be the case - though as the show wasnt on the original list, we may have to assess the budget to see if we can do that, so no guarantees.
