How to remove an 03 dashboard?

How do you remove the centre of the dash on an 03 jdm with a satnav, is it the same as on the 08 in the guide section? ive got a new satnav to go in and also need to get rid of some rattles!!!!!

I've taken mine to Japex in Kings Langley today and due to some little mods they'll have to remove all the centre dash including the sat nav bit. Give them a PM or pay a visit they are always very helpfull

remove the gear surround by putting your hand in the leather and gripping it behind the knob and pull up.

take the ribbon cable out of the back if of the AC controls

swivel the ac control section out the way.

take 6 screws out in total from under the stereo, two from the sides and 4 from further back under the white box

in the cubby, remove the mat, take the screws out there, two of.

lift the whole thing up from the bottom and pull the top srtaight out, there is a clip at the back near the windscreen be carefull not to break.

under the triple guages there is a white connector to undo, the cable doesnt have much slack.

start lifting the part out.

cheers for the help, in the guide it says about the screws under the mat in the cubby but my car has a satnav, are them screws still there or are they under the buttons?
