Any one had there ECU Remapped - How good is it on the Z

Has any one had there Z ECU Remapped- Thinking of getting mine done and just wanted some feedback really before i buy.

 

Where & What price too would help.

Can you map the JDM ecu's? And does that lift the 112mph restriction or will you still need a box to lift restriction?

The 112 mph de-restrictor can be done separately and has been done by several members who will pop by to advise.

 

Pretty much same deal with JDM ECU since its pretty much the same ECU - no easy gains w/out Piggyback although there 'might' be a NISMO ECU option available from Middlehursts, St Helens. Don't know personally anyone who has gone that route successfully or otherwise

 

UTEC is a good option provided you can find soemone who is competent to tune it and that is much more difficult than it should be. HKS SCON is also an option - but I saw some results to suggest the results on stock cars were not exciting given the cost.

In terms of de restricting the 112mph you need a HKS (type III i think) de-limiter.

hehe as in ie: i cant afford it! ah well, nismo exhaust and hi-flow cats will do me! if japan ever finish this bleeding holiday!

 

If im this bad waiting to order, god knows what the next 2months will be like!
