I don't think the ECU reset will do the trick but the following should ;)

This procedure will CLEAR the AirBag light ONLY if you do not have problems with the airbags on your 350Z.

1. Turn ignition switch from OFF to ON.

2. Air Bag warning lamp is on for 7 seconds and turns off, then turn ignition switch OFF within 1 second after the lamp turn off.

3. After ignition switch is turned OFF, wait for more than 3 seconds.

4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 twice. (Perform 3 times in total.)

5. Turn Ignition switch ON.

6. The SRS lamp has been reset it.

StephenG had this issue IIRC

Yeah, don't worry but twice is not a coincidence.

Just remember that all information for this car is out there for FREE if you know where to search - guess you know what I'm saying there too Liam :p

  • 4 weeks later...

Faults back peeps

Reset it again and it cleared. I then contacted the local dealer and got it booked in for Moday!!!

Come on again  Rang the dealer again and asked if they fancied checking it now whilst it's still on. They said yes bring it straight down :D

Two minute check, they found they problem and did the reset there and then

Computers says (lol) open circuit in passenger seat location. May need a replacement part but they need to check.

Anyway just in case anyone doesn't know, if your Airbag light is Flashing all airbags are deactivated within the car.

Liam
