jerry3167 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Whats the best stuff to secure the B-PILLARS? Quote
yokomo Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 i was going to say servo tape but having had one of mine get blown/ripped off not now. drivers ide is till stuck firm though . most peeps seem to go for the 3m stuff . Quote
Shaun1982 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Mine are fastened on with some yellow double sided tape that we use at work to put moulding etc back on with. Seems to of stuck well enough Quote
yokomo Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 is it padded or just thin liek carpet tape ?? Quote
Shaun1982 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Its about 2/3mm thick, its not like the foamy 3m tape though chief like most oem bits are stuck on with Quote
yokomo Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 hmm could use some of that stuff , the carpet tpae stuff doesnt have the grab due to not being of any thickness and although the servo tape grabs liek hell its abit thick. Quote
Shaun1982 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Have you had to do any trimming on the pillars dude? Quote
yokomo Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 didnt but but i split the top corner pushing it on once i get the new passanger side i may trim it a bit to get the top tolip over fully as im making darn well sure this one dont come off ! Quote
Shaun1982 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I trimmed the bootom off, that way no one sees that part & the rest makes it look like a replacement Pm me your address cocker & ill send you the tape Quote
scottsoulby Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 im going in monday mate so ill ask them to make a new passenger side, i used no more nails tape on mine, only had to use 2 little pads each side and they are stuck solid Quote
