witstu Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Bought the jinxed eibach spacers off Danny350z today.Set too on fitment of them on one of the front wheels first. They are the system 6 version so i have knocked out the old studs and drawn in the new longer studs, no problem there.Went to push on the spacer over the 5 studs but on my disc between 2 of the studs is a bobbin of metal with a small bolt in it and this is stopping the spacer from going on.It is at a different pcd to the spare holes drilled in the eibachs. What purpose does this bobbin serve? is it a disc jacking off point? Can i grind it off so the eibach goes on? Do the rear discs have this same bobbin on them? Waiting in anticipation for the experts to reply. Thanks. Quote
nurrish Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 That is there so you cant put rear wheels on the front. The bolt simply unscrews Quote
witstu Posted December 5, 2009 Author Posted December 5, 2009 Cheers Nurrish,so if i undo the bolt the bobbin of metal comes off with it? Quote
