I actually like the idea of automatic lifting to get over ramps/humps that can be found on the way to some show stands. Not that mine is anywhere near as low as say craigs for example, but I think it could still be useful.

 

I would want the switches on a box behind the passenger seat or perhaps even remotely controled - not an awful addition to the centre console.
