Kind of an oil leak.

Not sure how it's happened but I think the dipstick not being pushed in properly has caused oil to spray out. Is this possible? Or maybe something more serious? If so do people think it's worth getting the engine cleaned properly? Got oil around the stick and it's dripping through the engine and onto the floor.

 

Any help would be appreciated!

Nothing really to worry about, Stew and Alex had this before on rather spirited track sessions. If the dipstick isnt damaged, just clean it up and stick it back in, making sure its pushed all the way home

Is the dipstick damaged? I lost a seal on mine.

Well drove to work this morning and there still seems to be alittle oil burning off, not sure if any extra has come out as the dipstick is properly in now. Just hoping its just the left overs as couldnt clean it all off.

 

Might have to see if the seal has been damaged if its happened before. Hoping its that and nothing more serious
