converting JDM radio to UK bandwidth

I recently purchased an 03 import Z, the radio is still set up for Japanese market. If I want to sort it out for UK radio bandwidth what options and pricing do i have?

 

band expander?

 

If I replace the headunit with aftermarket or UK Bose system will this be all I need for radio to work? I need to replace the headunit anyway as the CD player does not work.

I still have Jap Bose and can get Radio 1 on one of their obscure frequencies! but I do intend to swap out head unit at some stage. Remember, if you get a new head unit (non Bose) you will need an adapter kit to work with Bose speakers and amp - they are about £30 IIRC

im wishing to change my factory head unit to a double din dvd. i have a bose system atm what will i need to do the job and any ideas how to do the wiring for the aftermarket replacement to the bose system thanks
